Businesses & Companies
In autumn 2022, the first shops and studios on Maschinengasse opened their doors, the dental practice and the ceramic loft on Papieri-Platz welcomed patients and customers, and work is also continuing on Fabrikstrasse and in the venerable Kalanderbau. Visit the business owners at the Papieri area or on their website.
Events & Kesselhaus
Discover everything about upcoming events on the Papieri area and the planned culinary delights at Papieri Site.
With its imposing twin chimneys, the Boiler House is the most eye-catching structure of the former paper mill. Instead of steam, it will now produce culinary delights in the future: Here, you can meet for morning coffee, spend lunchtime with colleagues for a meal, or meet friends for an aperitif or dinner.
Virtual Museum
The Cham Paper Mill is in the past, but its history and stories remain alive, thanks to the virtual museum developed in collaboration between the former Cham Group (now Cham Swiss Properties) and Chamapedia. This is how history becomes enjoyable! Learn more about the people and machines in the first virtual museum of a Swiss paper mill.
Papieri People
Who is developing this major project? Whom do you encounter here? Who is driving change? And what does the neighborhood of the future look like? In our series «Papieri People,» individuals with a connection to the site share what they experience here and how they contribute to shaping Papieri. One edition features Andela and Simon Leibundgut, who are opening a private home care organization on the Papieri site.
