Fired Up for the New Restaurant
From 2026, the fire will once again be burning in one of Papieri’s landmark buildings. With Kesselhaus Bar & Grill, the Segmüller Collection’s first boutique restaurant in the Canton of Zug, restaurateurs Daniela and Markus Segmüller celebrate the art of cooking over an open flame—from vegetables and dry-aged fish to classic fire-grilled meats.
A signature shoe is part of the distinctive identity of every Segmüller establishment—and Kesselhaus has one of its own. The idea originated at an exhibition in Frankfurt, when the couple came across an image of French fries served in a patent-leather high heel. «Food, shoes, our guests, and going the extra mile to make people happy—even when it gets uncomfortable,» is how Markus Segmüller sums it up.

The St. Jakob Foundation already operates eight “Beck & Kafi” locations in Zurich, offering guests freshly baked goods straight from the oven and plenty of charm. The delicious selection ranges from crusty breads and tasty sandwiches to irresistible desserts. Behind every homemade treat is a dedicated team of skilled professionals and employees who require additional support, all working with passion and commitment. We are delighted that the St. Jakob Foundation is now bringing its concept to Papieri.

The TReat restaurant offers the proven OYM lunch concept from Monday to Friday for anyone who values a balanced diet: Proteins (meat, fish, or vegetarian) are served, and all sides can be individually selected from a wide range of options.

In 2026, the fire will burn again in the landmark of the Papieri site. The Segmüller Collection is expanding its portfolio of unique gastronomy concepts, such as Carlton, Loft Five, Roof Garden, and Sablier, into the Papieri site. A restaurant with a grill, bar, and lounge will bring trendy casual dining to Cham.
