The Papieri offers all the amenities of a vibrant neighborhood, including practical everyday services, a diverse range of shopping and dining options, childcare facilities, and recreational opportunities in culture and sports.

For around two years now, the shops and studios in Maschinengasse have been open, and the dental practice and the ceramic loft have been welcoming their customers at Papieri-Platz. Since the end of 2024, KiTa Little Home and CITY STAY with serviced apartments have complemented the offering. At Papieri-Ring 4, Citypilates provides space for movement and encounters, and opposite, Blossom Coffee House delights guests with unique coffees.

Since April 2025, the restaurant TReat in the silo building has been open at lunchtime. The dining offering will be further diversified in 2026 in the Kesselhaus by Segmüller Collection. Migros, Beck & Kafi St. Jakob, TopPharm Pharmacy, ARB Fitness and numerous others will also be moving into Papieri.

Opening in 2026

With the third construction phase, the Papieri landmark Kesselhaus will open its doors. By 2026, Papieri will offer all the amenities of a vibrant neighborhood, including practical everyday services, a diverse range of shopping and dining options, childcare facilities, and cultural and recreational activities.

In 2026, a grill restaurant with a bar and lounge by the Segmüller Collection will introduce trendy casual dining, along with a Migros store, a pharmacy, a brand-new fitness center, a bakery with a café, and many other offerings.

The grill restaurant will become THE meeting place in the vibrant neighborhood.
The industrial character of the former paper mill landmark is preserved even at the bar.

Also in 2026, a new Migros store will open in the Papieri.
Right next to Migros, a pharmacy will move in. Starting in 2026, Ivona Zengaffinen will run the TopPharm Papieri Apotheke & Drogerie.
Starting in fall 2026, ARB Fitness will open a new fitness center in the Papieri landmark.
Starting in 2026, the café by Stiftung St. Jakob will open in the Papieri, following their Zurich concept «Beck & Kafi».
Stiftung St. Jakob offers not only oven-fresh delicacies but also plenty of charm with its concept.
