The porter's lodge

Supervision and hygiene

The porter would keep a watch over comings and goings at the Papieri paper mill. The glassed-in porter's lodge was located behind the building's arched porch. The basement housed the mill's own showers and bathrooms.

Today the fully refurbished gem in the middle of the Papieri site can be rented for private events, workshops or meetings.
A cosy communal room with a practical kitchen is ideal for birthday parties as well as workshops.
The entrance area of the little porter's lodge can also be individually arranged for events.

Location

Birthday parties can now be held where porters used to greet guests.
