ARB Fitness
The impetus for the founding came, somewhat unexpectedly, from an injury: when Anina had to engage intensively with rehabilitation and movement, this personal experience gave rise in 2016 to the idea of her own personal training concept: small, deliberately personal, with a strong focus on quality. The first training sessions took place in their own home, without investors and without major infrastructure. Clients came through friends and word of mouth. The concept gained traction.
Then came COVID, right in the middle of the expansion phase. Instead of giving up, the team built an outdoor gym on Europallets and simultaneously renovated the new premises largely themselves: knocking down walls, installing floors, and continuing to refine the concept.
When the opportunity arose to move into the Kesselhaus at Papieri during 2026, the team immediately knew it was the right fit. The industrial architecture of the former paper mill power station, the openness of the site, the mix of movement, encounter, and urban life — this is ARB Fitness.
At ARB Fitness, the focus is therefore not on mass or anonymous training spaces. Membership numbers are deliberately limited. Those who sign up now secure one of the coveted spots. The offering goes far beyond supervised training: individual training plans, performance diagnostics, physiotherapy and recovery services complement a diverse group class programme with athletic training, yoga, core & more, and strength-focused sessions specifically for women and men.
